The Coffee
The Ethiopian Guji Coffee has flavors associated with dark chocolate, peaches, and nectarines. The Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm utilizes shade from acacia and other indigenous trees to protect the coffee and create compost for natural fertilization.
People
Today most of the residents of the Guji region are still Oromo people. However, people from other parts of Ethiopia have also settled in parts of the region over the years, many of them coming from more arid areas of the country to farm here.
